Sunday meetings

Finding the place?

We meet in a school hall beside the car park. To find the entrance follow the signs. Read how to find us.

What to expect walking in the door?

The doors open from inside as its primary use is a school hall. So, the door is likely to be opened for you, especially if it is cold. You will be greeted by the person on the door.

What will happen?

The meeting will begin with a welcome including what is going to happen during the meeting. The usual format is a time of singing followed by a talk from the Bible and finishing with coffee and cake. We realise not everyone likes singing, feel free to just sit, listen and observe if you prefer.

What do I do if I have a baby?

We are family friendly and so are used to the sound of children. However, we do run a creche because we realise some parents and carers find it easier to relax with their young children in a creche. There will be an announcement when the creche starts. At that point the creche leader collects the children and takes them out to the creche. We are happy for parents and carers to accompany their children into the creche and see where the children are and to help settle them. However, we respectfully request that parents and carers do return to the main service in keeping with our child protection policy. If your child does not settle a creche worker will come and let you know discreetly.

What happens to the children and young people?

All children/young people are welcome to stay in during the whole meeting. However, we do have particular activities for them if preferred. Find out more about our activities for children and young people.
