Jesus recognised the demands of the kingdom often outweigh resources and so He said to the disciples
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
We are asking the Lord to send christians who have been called by Him to join us in this kingdom work here in Moulsecoomb and East Brighton. Perhaps He's calling YOU.
We would love to develop all areas of church ministry and are looking for people who love the Lord Jesus with a passion and who, out of that love, have a heart for reaching and building up God's people through the ministry of the word in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are looking for people with a passion for evangelsim, outreach, pastoral care, fellowship and wholistic healing (note the 'w').
We are also looking for people who are gifted administrators, musicians, worship leaders, teachers and Christian councillors. We are looking for IT and Audio/Visual technicians, people skilled in PA etc.
Basically, we want to establish, improve and expand all areas of ministry.
Interested in joining us? What you should know.
New Life Church is situated in Moulsecoomb, North-east Brighton - work here is not an easy call and we want to be upfront about the challenges that come with this territory.
Moulsecoomb is a large housing estate, numbering about 10,000 people. It is designated a multiply deprived area and faces all the challenges that come with large scale poverty such as higher than average rates of crime, unemployment, teenage pregnancy, substance misue etc.
However, that is not the whole story. Moulsecoomb is a great place to live, full of amazing people with great character. There is always lots of good things to do, and tremendous opportunity for kingdom progress.
But it is a mission field and so anyone seeking to join us should have a clear call to this kind of work and have the backing of their church.
If you believe the Lord may be calling you to serve with us please call me via the 'Contact Us' page and we will talk.
